Client Consent, Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

By booking and participating in a session with Jeanie Barat, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the following:

Nature of Services

I understand that services offered by Jeanie Barat may include Emotion Code®, Body Code®, Belief Code®, energy healing and balancing techniques, astrology, numerology, tarot/oracle card readings, intuitive guidance, spiritual guidance, and personal development or coaching practices.

I understand that these services are complementary, educational, spiritual, and/or personal-development practices intended to support self-awareness, personal insight, relaxation, spiritual exploration, and general well-being.

Sessions may be conducted remotely by telephone, video, or other electronic means.

Not Medical or Mental Health Care

I understand that these services are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other licensed healthcare treatment and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, illness, injury, or mental-health condition.

I understand that Jeanie Barat is not acting as my physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, or other licensed healthcare professional unless expressly stated otherwise.z

I agree that information or guidance provided during a session will not replace advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified medical or mental-health professional.

I will not discontinue or alter medications, medical treatment, therapy, or other professional care based solely on information received during a session.

Energy Healing & Complementary Practices

I understand that concepts such as energy imbalances, trapped emotions, energetic blocks, chakras, or similar terminology are used within complementary, spiritual, or energetic wellness frameworks and are not medical diagnoses.

I understand that individual experiences with energy-based practices vary and that no particular physical, emotional, financial, relationship, spiritual, or other outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Astrology, Numerology, Tarot & Intuitive Guidance

I understand that astrology, numerology, tarot/oracle cards, and intuitive or spiritual guidance are provided for personal insight, reflection, educational, spiritual, and/or entertainment purposes.

Any discussion of future possibilities, relationships, career, finances, health, or other areas of my life is interpretive in nature and is not a guarantee or prediction of a particular outcome.

I understand that I retain full responsibility and free will regarding all decisions I make.

Voluntary Participation & Client Responsibility

I voluntarily choose to participate in these services.

I understand that I may decline any technique, question, or activity and may end a session at any time.

I accept responsibility for my own choices, decisions, actions, and well-being before, during, and after my session.

If I have concerns regarding my physical or mental health, I understand that I should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

No Guarantees

I understand that results vary from person to person and that Jeanie Barat makes no promises or guarantees regarding the outcome of any session, reading, service, or package.

Testimonials or experiences shared by other clients represent their individual experiences and do not guarantee that I will experience the same or similar results.

Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability

I understand that participation in complementary, spiritual, intuitive, energy-based, and personal-development services is voluntary.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree that I am responsible for my decisions and actions arising from my participation in these services.

I agree not to hold Jeanie Barat, or any employees or contractors, responsible for losses, damages, or consequences resulting from my decisions or actions based upon information, interpretations, suggestions, or services provided during a session, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived or limited.

Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Confidentiality & Online Sessions

I understand that information shared during a private session will be treated as confidential to the extent reasonably possible, subject to applicable legal requirements.

I understand that remote sessions and electronic communications involve technologies outside the complete control of Jeanie Barat, and absolute security or confidentiality of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.

Age & Authority to Consent

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and legally able to consent to these services. If services are offered to a minor, appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian must be obtained before the session.
